The brief was to illustrate a short story based on two young school students and their indifference towards environment.

They are bored sitting through a lecture on environment in their school and cannot seem to relate to it as they have lived in a city that has only grown as a concrete jungle in front of them.

While on their way back home, their grandfather who drives them through the city to notice the biodiversity around them and to appreciate it and realize the importance of preserving it.
A cover illustration along with three interior illustrations were created. The style chosen was playful and the color tones were kept warm.
