Branding for a leather accessories label

Cord is a fashion label mainly focussed on leather bags and accessories with a plan to later delve into clothing as well.

The brief was to create an identity that brought together the elements of nostalgia as well as progressiveness, that their products spoke of.

Various styles were explored- minimal, vintage, modern and traditional. The final identity was an amalgamation of them all.

The identity thus created incorporated a 'knot' out of the cord tying together the two brand qualities.
Finally, two variations of the logo were created- one with just the unit 'cord' and the other with the date of establishment along with the tagline.
